It's been a while since I've posted to my blog... My poor blog has been a bit neglected lately! I have been very busy in my studio, creating all kinds of wonderful wedding cake toppers for my awesome customers, but I thought I would take some time this morning to blog a bit! I missed all of you!
My favorite part of creating my wedding cake toppers is adding all the details that bring them to life, make them unique, one of a kind pieces, made especially for each couple! I always begin with the bride figures first, and then create their grooms. I thought it would be fun to share with you, a few of my most recently created brides. I create all of my wedding cake toppers based on pictures and descriptions that my customers provide. I add as much detail as I can to create a good likeness of the couple's wedding attire, and personal attributes, as well as the bridal bouquets, pets and props. Each are lovingly hand sculpted by me. I love creating clay likenesses of each bride's wedding dress, some of the dresses have quite a bit of detail, others are more simple in their design, but all are such fun to create!!
