Little Girl Trinket Box

A customer liked one of my cake topper/figurines and asked if I could create something similar and put it on top of a trinket box.  This is the sweet Little Girl Trinket Box I created.  I covered a paper box with clay and stamped a leaf design inside, then I antiqued it to bring out the details.  I gave the outside of the box some texture to add visual interest, and I added a rope around the box where the lid meets the box.  I created a sweet little girl, wearing a party hat and a darling dress with a lace bottom.  She has her hair braided and over her one shoulder, and she is holding her favorite stuffed toy... A Hello Kitty.  I added a lot of fun details to this piece, my favorite part of creating... I LOVE the tiny details that bring my pieces to life!

Yes... This was made for someone special who's turning 50, 

she loves pink and Hello Kitty!  :)  That's the beauty of custom orders...
