April Showers Bring May Flowers...

...That's what I'm hoping anyway!  I created my little Ducks in a Puddle quite a few years ago and they have happily resided in my Etsy Shop ever since I first opened it.  I sold a couple of them recently, and since it's spring and rainy, I thought this would be a good time to re-introduce my little ducks.  This one is a Daddy and Baby Duck, (a darling FATHER'S DAY GIFT!) and I can custom create it with a Mommy and Baby Duck, which would be a sweet MOTHER'S DAY gift.  You can see more about my Ducks in a Puddle in the listing HERE.

Cowboys and Cowgirls are fun toppers and keepsakes!!  For that special little one in your life who loves all things western, these would be perfect!  They can be personalized just for you, here are a few that I recently created...

A Little Girl and Her Pony

Created for a girl's 5th Birthday, this fun cake topper features a Cowgirl all decked out in her western hot pink outfit, and her little pony wearing a hot pink flower in her hair!  They are standing in the grass with flowers in front of them.  The lasso was made in the shape of a number five for this special birthday celebration.  After the party, it's a wonderful keepsake to last a lifetime!

A Fairy and A Birthday Girl!

I just finished a custom order, a Cake Topper for a little girl's first birthday!  She's so cute with her big blue eyes, holding a yummy cupcake and wearing a party hat!  And below her is a Fairy, which I just listed in my Etsy Shop...

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ Well, I'm on a Fairy 'kick' at the moment... Below is the first of the two Fairies I've been working on... Can't wait to finish the second one, she'll be ready to make her debut soon.  In the meantime, here is my Flower Fairy.  This adorable Fairy lives in the world of make believe, where anything is possible and everything is sprinkled with sunshine and fairy dust! She just picked some beautiful yellow roses and is sitting on a log in her magical forest with a lady bug by her side. Her wings were stamped with a floral design and mica powder was used to highlight the design and give the Fairy a magical look.

It's All About Spring!

I just spent some creative time in my studio while the sunshine poured through the windows reminding me that spring is on it's way!!  Today, along with some older springtime creations of mine, I'm also sharing two of the things I've just finished creating... It's all about spring, it's all about painting Easter Eggs!!

 I created this 'Little Boy Fishing' figurine quite a while ago, and I thought I would share it with you today... Since I'm thinking about warmer weather, I thought he would fit right in.  My daughter once told me that when she thinks of the most creative figurines I've made, this little boy fishing is one of the ones she thinks of first.

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ Spring is the time when the beautiful and colorful flowers brighten up the landscape... It's the time we get  to go outside and work in our gardens, with the warm sun shining down on us. It's a time I've been looking forward to ~ pretty much since our first snowfall!!  Here are two of my Garden Figurine Cake Toppers:

'Ready For My Bedtime Story' Figurine

Hello!  Today I renewed the listing in my Etsy Shop for one of my favorite figurines.  I think it's one of my favorites because of the story behind the inspiration for creating it...  I was inspired to make this figurine by a book I read to my children when they were little.  Sweet memories of snuggling up before bedtime with each of my kids on either side of me, so interested in a story they had heard so many times before ~ and loved more each time I read it! I must have read that book thousands of times.  I still have it in our bookcase, it's a bit tattered around the edges from all the love it received through the years.  

This darling little girl is ready to snuggle up for her bedtime story, and to dream sweet dreams. With her yellow blanket and her beloved teddy bear tucked safely her hand, her tiny little toes are peeking out from under her pretty pink and white nightgown. She is holding her favorite book, asking someone special to read it to her. She stands approximately 3 1/2" tall, on a  4" x 3" base.

Night Time Prayers...

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ A sweet little boy kneeling with his dog to say his night time prayers...  Reminds me of when my kids were little and they would kneel beside their bed and say their night time prayers.  Such sweet memories of those images in my head!  The sweet, innocent beauty of a child with their head bowed and their hands folded, as they pray for good things and good health for all the people they love.  When I created this figurine, I thought it would be a very special gift for a First Communion or Confirmation.  Coming Soon... I am creating a little girl kneeling with her kitty saying her night time prayers.

Hello Everyone!!  Well... It was a LONG road, but I finally reached my destination!!  I am so happy to announce that I have my Website up and running!!  I'm not kidding, it really has been a long time in the making, two years to be exact... A friend began the process two years ago, and he got it all set up for me.  But I had the most difficult time trying to take it from where he left off... I found it very difficult to navigate within the site.  So, very frustrated, I finally gave up.  Recently my mom steered me in a different direction ~ and I thank her for that ~ because here it is two years later, and I have an official website for Trina's Clay Creations.  I am so happy with how it has turned out!  Please stop by and take a peek at Trina's Clay Creations Website and let me know what you think.
