Sports Theme Wedding Cake Toppers

As my newest wedding cake topper designs are making their debut, I thought I'd highlight some of my Sports Theme Cake Toppers here with you today...  Perfect for sports loving couples, each would make a great cake topper for a wedding cake, groom's cake, even an anniversary cake!  These would also be awesome personalized gifts for the special couple!!  

As you can see, your favorite sport can be represented by just a touch, with maybe a foam finger... Or the bride and groom can be wearing jersey's that represent their favorite teams, or the base of the cake topper can be created to signify the sport... Any kind of variation can be created!

Sports Themed Wedding Cake Toppers!!

Sports themed wedding cake toppers are popular, showcasing the couple's passion for a sport, a team... Incorporating the sport in some way on their wedding cake topper is a great way to personalize such a special keepsake!  Here are a few that I have recently created, all listed in my Etsy Shop as examples of wedding cake toppers I can create for you!!

She loves the Football and the Broncos... He loves Baseball and the Red Sox!

Combining the two, grass and a football on her side, dirt and a baseball on his side, was such fun!  Then adding Home Plate right in front with their names and wedding date...

Sports Theme Wedding Cake Topper

In a previous post, I shared a wedding cake topper that I made where I incorporated the couple's hobbies, (you can see that post HERE) and today I am sharing a wedding cake topper that incorporates their love for their sports teams!  Just like creating a topper including a couple's hobbies, making a sport theme topper, that's special to the couple, makes it unique and one-of-a-kind too!  This topper is an example of just that!  It's one of my most recent wedding cake toppers, and was such fun to create.

For this Sports Theme Wedding Cake Topper the couple LOVES Football but I can customize the jersey's for any sport you'd like.  The bride and groom are wearing their team jersey's over their wedding attire. The bride isn't carrying a bouquet, but one can be added if you'd like. They are posed on a base made to look like they are standing on the 50 Yard Line of a Football Field. It's 3 1/2" round and they are approximately 5" tall.

Useless Information...

We have so much useless information stored in our heads, and where does some of it come from?!  For example, every once in a while my son loves to quiz me on football teams, naming the city and wanting me to give him the teams' name.  Then he will switch, and give me the team, wanting the city they play for.  Invariably, every time, I have the correct answer.  Or he will name quarterbacks and ask me which team they play for.  This, I know as well. He tries so hard to stump me - and he rarely ever seems to be able to.  Now, this may not seem unusual to some, but the thing is... I am not even a football fan - not at all!  Why do I know this stuff?  I can't answer that... but it's all in there, among all kinds of other useless information taking up space in my brain.  I can't remember where I put my car keys, but I know that the Panthers play for Carolina.  I can't remember if I unplugged my blow dryer, but the Ravens play for Baltimore. Did I close the garage door? I can't remember, but I know that the Falcons play for Atlanta. Now, I can understand knowing the Dallas Cowboys, the San Francisco 49ers, the Arizona Cardinals or the Detroit Lions because I've lived in those places. But all the others... I just don't know how I've memorized them, without knowing that I did!  I don't always remember if I've told someone something already but...
