Beach Theme Wedding Cake Toppers!!

Beach theme wedding cake toppers are so popular, no matter what time of year it is!  Great for destination weddings being held somewhere tropical too!  Here are a few that I recently created...

Wedding Cake Topper with a Yellow Lab and Pretty Lilacs!

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!  We had a nice Easter, and we also celebrated my son's 23rd birthday this weekend... I can't believe he's 23!  Where does the time go?! 

I'm back in my studio now, working on my clay creations and custom orders, and today I'm introducing my newest Wedding Cake Topper!  It features a Yellow Lab and beautiful Lilacs and White Roses!  The puppy is so cute, and all 'dressed up' in his black bow tie to help celebrate the special day!  The Groom is wearing a Black tux and the bride's dress has a black sash with lovely embellishments, including Swarovski Crystals.  Because my customer's are having a square wedding cake, I made the base for this topper square too.  This cake topper is listed in my Etsy Shop as an example of a Wedding Cake Topper I can create for you!  You can see more about it HERE.

A Miniature Hat Challenge!

I am so pleased at how this topper turned out!  My customer's fiance always wears a John Deere hat and she wanted a likeness of the hat on the groom incorporated in her topper.  This was a challenge for me, I'm used to working on a much larger scale and the space on the hat is barely a half an inch long and is just under a quarter of an inch tall... I think the likeness of the John Deere logo turned out pretty good, especially for having such a small space to work with.  I have a huge appreciation and admiration for the polymer clay artisans who create miniatures!!

It's so funny, I get kind of attached to my little clay creations while I am creating them!  After I am finished creating them, they sit on my work table 'visiting me' as they cool and dry, after curing and painting them... So, when I box them up and get them ready to ship to their new homes I really miss them!  LOL!  I'm glad to have the pictures...  Anyway, here's my newest Beach Theme Wedding Cake Topper, complete with a likeness of a John Deere hat:

Yellow Lab Puppy Wedding Cake Topper

 Happy New Year!!!  Can you believe it's 2013?!

I thought my newest wedding topper looked a little like they could be dressed up to celebrate the coming of a New Year too!  This topper is one of my favorite custom orders, turned out so adorable!!  Of course, I kind of have an attachment to all of my clay creations, and it's difficult to 'say good-bye' each time I mail them off to their new homes...
