Wedding Cake Toppers...

The holidays are fast approaching, meanwhile beautiful weddings are taking place everywhere!!  I have been busy in my studio creating many wonderful wedding cake toppers... Brides and Grooms, Themed Toppers, Toppers including pets, Animal Toppers... Here are a few custom made toppers that I recently listed in my Etsy Shop as examples of cake toppers I can create for you!!

All of my wedding cake toppers are designed and hand sculpted by me, based on pictures and descriptions of hair color and style, eye color, wedding attire, etc., sent to me by my customers.  I list them in my Etsy Shop as examples of wedding cake toppers that I can create for that very special wedding day!!  They're toppers for wedding cakes, groom's cakes, and even anniversary cakes.  They are special keepsakes from such a special day, to be treasured always!  Each one, in their own unique way, represents the bride and groom... Who they are as a couple, their interests and hobbies, their pets... The possibilities for unique wedding cake toppers are endless!!!

In the Artists Own Words:

I was born in England and love chocolate, my family, making things and growing vegetables. Not necessarily in that order. I have been 'making things' for as long as I can remember. Quilts and rag rugs have been some of my passions. I have a lovely,supportive husband, three daughters and three grandsons as well as dogs, pigs, sheep, ducks and chickens.  Ten years ago we moved to Wales to make our dream of owning a smallholding and having the space to grow all of our own vegetables as well as raising animals come true. I don't like waste so after our sheep were shorn for the first time I decided to do something with the fleeces. I tried spinning and weaving but it was the magical process of felt making that truly hooked me. There is only so much felt that a house can hold so I tried selling some of my work at a local craft fair and, to my great surprise, people liked it and were even willing to pay good money for my artwork! Since then I have qualified as an adult education teacher and teach workshops, I sell in local art and craft shops and some of my work goes to exhibitions.

I just love the vibrant colors and beautiful

In the Artist's Own Words:

Su Ami is a group of 5 crafters in a family, we are living in Vietnam. Shop title is the nick name of our youngest member of 10 years old, she loves all kind of animals and movie characters that were inspired us for all amigurumi patterns.

Most patterns we choose bright and cheerful colors of wool and creatures are made using different kind of crochet and craft techniques. We are trying to create all cute animals into our collection every month so you will find all lovely animals for home display, collectible toys, special gifts.

Introducing my Newest Clay Creations and a few New Listings in my Etsy Shop

I have been busy in my studio creating many wonderful pieces!  Here are just a few...  The first two are listed in my Etsy Shop.  Click HERE to see more of my Clay Creations in my Etsy Shop.

Bride, Groom and Kitty Wedding Cake Topper 

This is an example of a custom made Wedding Cake topper that I created, a Bride, Groom, and one kitty. I can customize the dress and tux just for you, and add your pet too! The bride has brown hair up in a curly bun and her dress is white with buttons down the back. The groom has brown hair and is wearing a grey tux with a white shirt and dark blue vest and tie. The flowers for both the bouquet and the boutonniere are beautiful yellow sunflowers. They are posed with their kitty and a plaque with the wedding date on a 3 1/2" round base that is approximately 5" tall.

Two Sheep in a Pod Wedding Cake Topper

This adorable Sheep Wedding Cake Topper, that I created, is an example of a custom order that I can create for you. The topper is approximately 2 1/4" high and the sheep are sitting inside a Pea Pod, which is approximately 4 1/2" long. It can be custom made in the colors you choose. This bride sheep has a green bow on her head and is holding a bouquet of white daisies. The groom sheep is wearing a green bow tie and black top hat with a little Shamrock decorating the hat band. In front of the pea pod is a little plaque for the names and wedding date.

Guitar Player

This fun topper was created for a retirement party.  The celebrated person plays the guitar in a band and the theme of the party was 'Have a Rockin' Retirement' ~ Sitting in a rocking chair playing his guitar... Doing what he enjoys most!  I created the 'wooden' rocking chair, electric guitar and little amp entirely out of polymer.  A star design was stamped into the base for added visual interest. 

The last of my clay creations I am sharing today are two little Gnomes...

Two Little Gnomes

These were fun for me to create, they are very miniature... 

Not a scale I'm used to working on. 

They stand approximately 1 3/4" tall, she's holding a basket of flowers 

and each are wearing their Gnome pointy hats.   

In the next picture they are standing next to one of my Fairy Doors.

A Wonderful Day!

.¸.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨)

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ I hope that everyone had a very special and wonderful Christmas Day!  We had a nice day.  I made fried dough for breakfast (A tradition in my family) and we enjoyed a relaxing morning with each other, opening gifts.  It didn't snow, but there was snow on the ground, so it was a white Christmas!  We took a moment to have our picture taken together by our tree, before heading over to Grandma's for the evening.  Mary Ann had her whole family together this year (All three of her kids and their families), and that was so nice!  We enjoyed the company of each other, and a delicious meal together!

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ Earlier in the day, George went outside to chop some wood to add to the fire that we had going in our fireplace... and sure, Izzie looks innocent enough in the above picture ~ but that was just to make me think she was behaving herself!  She decided it would be fun to drag each piece of wood, as George finished chopping it, through the snow and off to the far end of the yard.  So they were playing a game of "Chop the Wood, Hide the Wood and Go Retrieve the Wood!"  Fun new snow game...  :)

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ I made some ornaments this year, and gave them as gifts to my family.  I want to make some more, similar to these, throughout the year, for my Etsy Shop, so that I am ready for next Christmas!  This was my first Etsy Christmas, so I wasn't as prepared as I hope to be next year.  I really enjoyed making these...
