(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ It's a New Year, a New Beginning... A whole year ahead, filled with endless possibilities. I have set some goals for 2011 and can't wait to see, as each unfolds... and where each will lead me. On a business standpoint, one of the things I am going to do is to set up a store on my website to promote, sell and take special orders for my cake toppers. I'm so happy to have Trina's Clay Creations Website up and running, and am looking forward to getting it ready for business. I am also going to try to see if I can get my cake toppers in a local Artist Co-op. The shop is called Imagine That! and it's right here in our quaint downtown area. This is something that I've thought about doing since I first moved to Michigan in August of 2009. It's wonderful to have a place where people can shop for gifts from local artisans. There are many talented artisans who belong to the co-op, and their work is so unique and diverse. When I am downtown I love to visit the shop, to see what is new.

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ Some of the other things I would like to do as I venture into 2011... I want to make more Christmas ornaments for my Trina's Clay Creations ~ Etsy Shop during the year ~ for next holiday season. I would love to reach the sales goals I've set for my Etsy Shop, and I want to put together and promote (on my blog) more Etsy Treasuries. Lastly, I would like to participate in a couple of local craft fairs during the year!

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ♥ In this blog post I chose to include the above "BELIEVE" Ornament that I made, because that's what it's all about! We must believe... Believe in ourselves, our abilities, our artwork, our craft... in order to reach our goals, no matter what they are! It took a long time for me to get to that point ~ still working on it... every day! I appreciate all the support from my family and friends, their constant belief in me and in my artwork inspires me every day!!! So a big THANK YOU to all my family, friends and to all who have admired and/or purchased my Clay Creations! I appreciate each and every one of you!!!

Trina,
ReplyDeleteI love this post and look forward to your website becoming very profitable for you.
'Imagine That' would be crazy not to accept your lovely creations. Their shop would benefit greatly.
Love,
Mom
Thank you Mom! I would love to be a part of Imagine That! And it would be great if my website becomes a place where people love to shop for cake toppers!!! :) We'll see...
ReplyDeleteGreat post..it's so exciting to think what can happen in 2011! I love it that you are going to put your work in "Imagine That"...it makes so much sense, showing your work with other local artisans. Hooray for the new beginning of the new year...I wish for a year that every goal is attained and a magical year full of brilliant moments...xoxo!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tina! Great wishes for everyone as we venture into 2011 together!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like it that you have set goals for yourself - it's the pathway to success. Just since I saw you in July, you have done so much with your business. I like the Christmas ornament idea and I hope you will show them well before the holidays. Also, Imagine That should be pleased to get your work and I"m sure that they will work around your schedule - you aren't the only person who works!
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane! You're right, I really have done a lot with my business since July... Kind of jumped into it with the intention of blazing a trail, and I think I did, right into the new year! :) I'm learning something new every day, keeping my eyes wide open and I continue to be inspired by so many people around me - most of whom I've never even met! You are one of the inspiring people in my life and I thank you for that. Anyway, I'm having a lot of fun too! :) Thanks too, for the encouragement regarding Imagine That!
ReplyDeleteTrina - Those are some great goals. I will hope and pray that you make it into your local co-op. That would be SO AWESOME for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Katie!! It would be awesome! :)
